Final Plaster Properties
Joinway cellulose ethers keep water available to hydrate the gypsum over a longer period of time-allowing high mechanical strength to develop. Joinway products also inhibit crack formation and help form a homogenous plaster surface.
Indoor plasters made with Joinway cellulose ethers finish easily to a smooth, white surface; particles of the mix are dispersed more evenly, without lumps. And because all Joinway grades are white powder, they help maintain desired finish color.
